Chris Pifer

Chris Pifer has spent his entire career in the nonprofit sector with the last 16 of those years working with the Salesforce platform. He’s been technical and architect lead on some of the largest nonprofit Salesforce implementations in the sector and has been recognized by Salesforce for that work as a part of the MVP Hall of Fame and Salesforce Architect Ambassador Program. He is a director in the nonprofit/pubsec/edu practice at Coastal where he serves as Nonprofit Industry Advisor. Within the Salesforce community he has been part of the organizing committee for Northeast Dreamin’ and is active in the Salesforce Commons program where he has spent the last 6 years leading the development of an open source solution for tracking memberships on the Salesforce platform. He’s spoken at countless Salesforce events, including Dreamforce and has a special love for event driven architectures. He lives in Amherst, MA and when he’s not spending time with his family, he works as a stage manager and production manager for a local community theater.
