Pat Gentile After a successful 25-year business career as CFO and COO, Pat Gentile has been providing underserved communities throughout Connecticut with free, best-in-class tax advocacy through the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA). In 2020, Pat founded SimplifyCT, a nonprofit dedicated to linking technology, volunteers and nonprofit-public sector partnerships to provide family economic empowerment services, notably improved access to two of our nation’s most important anti-poverty tools: Child Tax Credit and the Earned Income Credit.
